Within nine years, Glenmark grew to become the largest nursing home and related ancillary service company in West Virginia. During that period, Mike was directly responsible for maintaining the daily property operations with regard to safety, various skill and acuity levels, and purpose of each nursing home facility, as well as working with all state compliance agencies and different nursing home accreditations. Mike’s role grew and evolved as Glenmark sold its healthcare holdings and forged ahead with its commercial real estate construction and development arms. As Director of Construction, Mike is in charge of taking projects from inception to fruition. His estimating, budgeting, and bid negotiating skills have been instrumental in ensuring the success of projects. Additionally, he assists in developing a project’s scope of work and ensures contractors adherence thereto and to the architectural plans and specifications. His diligence nearly guarantees each project’s completion on time and on budget.
Since 2003, he has overseen and directed, on behalf of Glenmark, in excess of $200 million dollars and 900,000 square feet of new construction and tens of millions of dollars in renovations, expansions, and improvements of existing properties. With 30 years of experience, Mr. Saab has seen just about everything in the construction industry.
